The life of a 2 year old.

Anna and her cousin, Brandon petting a reindeer. I was mortified!! This camel was so nasty, but Anna sure loved him.
Our first trip to Pigeon Forge. It was so fun, but soo hot!!
Beach Baby

My little girl is just so fascinating. It is hard to believe that she will be 2 years old in a couple of months. I remember the day that she was born. It seems like it was yesterday that I had her in my arms. Life seems to get more interesting with her like at the beach this year. At her first trip t o Pigeon Forge, TN. What a ball!!!! Life just couldn't get any better. Who says a 2 year old can't be cute and bad at the same time?

Been a long time, but I am back!!!

It sure has been a long time since I last blogged. I guess I will start from how things have been going for the past couple of months. Well, my sweet baby girl is 21 months now and is the light of life. She is so hilarious and has grown up so much in the past couple of months. She is saying complete sentences and can even count to 10 ( thank you Dora). She still is a little skinny miny, but is tall as a tree. We are in the process of working on another baby, but I am just putting all of that into the Lord's hands, cause he knows what I need before I even ask for it. My husband and I are closer than ever and have been spending alot of time together, which I love.
We are getting ready to go on vacation to Gatlinburg with my family on July 14th. I am so ready to get away from this city and the job life for a minute. Hospitals have a way of driving you crazy. Then, on August 4th we leave to head to Florida for a week cruise with Mike's family. Anna is going with us so that will be awesome to see how she reacts to all the water and people on the boat. It was a christmas present, cause otherwise we would be leaving Anna at the house. I have to get off of her for now and will post pictures of the family and my baby girl soon. I am actually doing a no-no and am on the computer at work. Blog with u guys later. Peace!!!!

Finally!!! I remembered my password, so now I ca hook back up with my people. Since the last time I was on here Anna has grown up so much and my life has changed so much in the past month and a half. She is now 6 and a half months old and is doing so many things. First off, she went to the doctor for her 6 month check-up and is 16 lbs., 27 and a half inches long, and is in the 95% for her height and her head circumference. She is sitting up on her own and is scooting herself backwards. She also has learned how to say Ma Ma, even though she says it when she is screaming her head off, but I will take what I can get. LIfe is GREAT!!! My job is going good at the hospital, although I am a little scared about this H1N1 thing that is going on. I hope I don't have anyone at the hospital who I have to take care of that has it. Some people just like to overreact about things like this. Well, I am getting off of here so that I can get some sleep before my sweet baby wakes up and is ready to go first thing @ 730 in the morning.

New to this blog. Thanks Abbie for the idea!!!

I am new to this blogging thing, so here is a little bit of info about me and my wonderful family. My name is Lori Matuscak and I will be 28 years old this year. I am soooo happily married to the best man in the world, Michael and we have an adorably precious new baby girl named Anna Elizabeth who is 5 months old. My husband and I have been married 5 years this year and I am loving every minute of being a mom and a wife, all at the same time. I never understood how much you could love someone until I got married and also when I had a baby. They have a way of changing the whole aspect of your life, and making it so much better. I am a respiratory therapist at Greenville Memorial Hospital and love it knowing that I am changing peoples lives and also saving them at the same time. My husband is also a respiratory therapist at Regency Hospital inside of St. Francis Hospital.

Here is a little information about our precious baby Anna. She was born on October 16th,2008 at Greenville Memorial Hospital @ 1146 am via a C-section, because I was 4 days overdue and she just wasn't wanting to leave her warm bed. She weighed in at 7lbs 6oz. and was 20 and 3/4 inches long. She looked just like her daddy from the time she was born up until now. At her 4 month doctors visit she was 13 and a half lbs. and was 25 inches long. She now eats cereal in the morning with a 6 oz. bottle in the morning when she wakes up and will have 4-5 bottles after that throughout the day and for lunch will eat some type of vegetable, rather it be, sweet potatoes, which she loves, green beans, squash, peas or carrots. At night before bed she has another bowl of cereal with her fruit in it just like at breakfast and then has her last 6 once bottle for the night. The fruits that she likes to eat are especially prunes(her favorite) oddly enough, applesauce, bananas, pears, and also peaches. I will keep you posted later on about all the wonderful things that my baby girl has been doing up until now. I have got to go to bed because she will be up between 7 and 8 o'clock in the morning. God Bless.
